About The Taxidermist: (Erin Howard - Silcox)

A Nebraska native turned Utah transplant, I’ve always been driven by a passion for wildlife and art.
After earning a degree in Land Use Economics, I quickly realized I couldn’t spend my life behind a computer; I needed to create with my hands.

That decision led me to the Northwest Iowa School of Taxidermy, and I’ve never looked back. Nearly a decade later, I’m grateful every day for the path that brought me to owning my own taxidermy business.

Outside the studio, I’m an avid angler who loves chasing muskie and tiger trout. There’s a unique peace that comes from being immersed in nature—a feeling that inspires every mount I create. My love for the outdoors also led me to hunting, deepening my respect for wildlife and the responsibility that comes with harvesting my own food.

I believe every animal taken is a trophy in its own right and deserves the time, skill, and respect to be honored properly. Cutting corners simply isn’t in my nature; I care deeply about my clients and the stories behind each piece.

I run this business alongside my husband, Cole, whose dedication matches my own. Together, we’re committed to bringing your trophy to life and look forward to working with you.

Vision

I believe that with industry leading techniques and exceptional attention to detail, taxidermy can transform into wildlife art.

I refuse to compromise; using the best components, and innovative competition taxidermy methods to recreate your animal.

I do not cut corners. I invest the time on each and every animal to provide a mount with industry leading quality.
